Celebrating National Decision Day with a Special Visit to NC A&T!
In honor of National Decision Day, our students from the Jóvenes Líderes en Acción (JLA) program marked the occasion in a truly memorable way—with a special visit to the historic campus of North Carolina A&T State University (NC A&T) in Greensboro.
As part of the Escalera Project, in collaboration with UnidosUS, the JLA program supports Latino youth in preparing for college, careers, and leadership. And what better way to inspire their next steps than by walking the grounds of one of the nation’s most prestigious Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)?
With more than 130 years of legacy, NC A&T is not only rich in history but also leads the nation in graduating the most Black engineers—a powerful testament to academic excellence and opportunity.
Our visit was filled with learning, pride, and inspiration. From hearing about trailblazing alumni to discovering the vibrant student life on campus, our students left energized by the possibilities that higher education holds. And yes—there was plenty of fun too!
We’re so proud of our JLA students and excited for all that lies ahead as they continue to dream big and lead with purpose.
