For the first time in two years after the Covid-19 Pandemic the Governor’s Advisory Council on Hispanic/Latino Affairs will meet in person and registration has reached capacity. If you did not have an opportunity to register for the in person meeting it will be livestreamed (link below). El Centro Hispano invites you to watch the livestream with us at our offices in Raleigh.

  • Anthony Graham, Ph.D. Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Winston-Salem State University

  • Evin L. Grant Policy Director at NC Department of Administration (NCDOA)

  • A. Mercedes Restucha-Klem – Assistant Attorney General, Outreach & Policy Counsel at North Carolina Department of Justice

  • Lateisha Thrash – Division of Adult Correction, Director of Reentry, Programs & Services, N.C. Department of Public Safety

  • Community members will have an opportunity to make public comments.

  • Council Members present their recommendations to the Chair regarding; Health, Education, Leadership, Legislative and Advocacy, Economic Development, Public Safety.
