Webinar: Breast Cancer

Presentation on a preventive health topic with the objective of educating the Hispanic/Latin/Latinx population of NC through a virtual platform and at an appropriate time for the public. This time the topic is: Breast Cancer.

Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among Hispanic women in the United States and the leading cause of cancer death in this group. 17,100 Hispanic women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, and more than 2,400 were expected to die from the disease. In the presentation they will learn: What is breast cancer, how to be examined, risk factors and a panel of questions and answers.
