Fifth Annual Bilingual Electoral Forum with Raleigh Mayoral Candidates
El Centro Hispano NC, together with Enlace Latino NC, is proud to announce the fifth annual Bilingual Electoral Forum, set to take place on September 19 at 6:00 PM at the Royal Throne Event Center. This historic event provides an invaluable platform for the Latino community to engage with the Raleigh Mayoral candidates and actively participate in the upcoming election process.
This year’s forum will feature the following candidates: Eugene Myrick, James Shaughnessy, Terrance Ruth, and Paul Fitts. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear directly from these candidates and pose questions that matter most to the community. The forum will include simultaneous English interpretation, ensuring that all participants have equal access to the discussions and can engage fully regardless of their linguistic background.

The 2024 Raleigh mayoral election, scheduled for November 5, 2024, will elect the mayor of Raleigh, North Carolina. The election is nonpartisan and will use a plurality vote system, with no possibility of a runoff. Incumbent Mayor Mary-Ann Baldwin has chosen not to seek re-election to a third term.
