Bringing Knowledge and Resources to the Community

El Centro Hispano was proud to collaborate with the Consulate of Mexico in Raleigh and several partner organizations to strengthen the Preventive Protection campaign, part of the #KnowAndExerciseYourRights program. This important community effort took place at Brightleaf Flea Market in Smithfield, North Carolina, bringing vital information and resources directly to the Mexican community.

Throughout the day, participants received guidance on emergency preparedness, dual nationality, rights in case of detention, consular notification, and how to report hate crimes, among other key topics focused on ensuring safety, awareness, and empowerment.

At El Centro Hispano, we are committed to building partnerships that protect and uplift our community. Together, we continue working to ensure that every person has access to accurate information, resources, and the support they need to thrive with dignity and confidence.
