Free Resources for the Community During Coronavirus

In response to the expanding COVID-19 public health emergency, we are compiling lists of various free resources and services to help the Triangle community to cope with the COVID-19 epidemic.

Free Resources To Help The Community During Coronavirus

HEALTH

  • Our mobile unit in collaboration with Llibott Consultorios Medicos will be offering free medical services on Monday, March 16 from 1:00pm – 6:00pm in Villa Latina (421 Chapanoke Rd. Suite 156 Raleigh 27603).

 

FOOD

  • NC Public Schools will allow schools closed due to Coronavirus (#COVID19) to serve meals to students through the summer meals programs in a non-congregate setting. More info: here

Electricity

Duke Energy is suspending disconnection for nonpayment effective immediately.

Water

Raleigh Water will suspend all water account disconnects due to non-payment of City of Raleigh utility bills. More information: https://raleighnc.gov/water#:~:text=

Internet

Spectrum plans to offer free internet to students without access as the novel coronavirus. To enroll, call 1-844-488-8395. For more information, click here.

Comcast also announced it would offer two months of free internet services to low-income households in its service areas.

AT&T would waive internet data overage fees for customers who have capped data plans.

Verizon would waive any late fees and not terminate any service for the next 60 days.
