COVID-19 Guidance for the Construction Workforce
El Centro Hispano has created this digital media toolkit to promote safety, training and community outreach programs to address COVID-19 pandemic prevention and mitigation in the construction industry.
This bilingual guidance is based on CDC guidelines and is advisory in nature and informational in content, and is intended to assist employers, workers and their families in providing a safe and healthful workplace.
As cold weather moves in, people spend more time indoors, and as the holidays approach, let’s take steps to slow the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a mask, staying at least 6 feet apart, avoiding crowds, and washing hands often. Protect Yourself When Using Rideshares

Employers
Employers should have a COVID-19 response plan to protect workers, following CDC Interim Guidance for Businesses and Employers, and share this plan with their workers in languages they all understand. Small construction businesses should review the CDC small business guidelines.

Workers and employers in North Carolina’s construction industry have a new resource to quickly learn the facts about protecting themselves and their worksites from COVID-19 thanks to a virtual training series developed by Hope Renovations and premier training platform M.T. Copeland.
