Join the 2024 Pre-Election Poll of the Hispanic Electorate Webinar

El Centro Hispano NC and UnidosUS are pleased to invite members of the North Carolina press to participate in an important webinar unveiling the results of the 2024 Pre-Election Poll of the Hispanic Electorate. This comprehensive survey, conducted by BSP Research with significant oversamples in North Carolina and other key states, provides crucial insights into the priorities of Latino voters as the 2024 election approaches.

The poll, which surveyed 3,000 Latino voters, reveals that the top five issues of concern are predominantly related to cost-of-living challenges: inflation, wages, housing, and healthcare costs. Immigration and gun violence are tied for fifth place. The results, along with additional Congressional district-level data from the USC Center for Inclusive Democracy, will be presented in detail during the webinar.

The UnidosUS Hispanic Electorate Data Hub, launched last November, offers a comprehensive view of this pivotal electorate. The data hub includes the latest poll results and interactive tools to better understand the Latino voting-age population.

Pilar Rocha-Goldberg, President and CEO of El Centro Hispano, highlights the significance of these findings. She stated, ā€œAs we approach the 2024 election, the voices of North Carolinaā€™s Latino electorate are clear. At El Centro Hispano, we hear firsthand what concerns our community the most, from economic hardships to healthcare access and safety. This election is a critical moment for our voices to be heard and for our communities to shape the policies that will directly impact our lives. We are committed to educating and empowering young Latinos to participate fully in the democratic process, with the potential of 40% of Latino voters participating in their first election this year. Together, we can drive meaningful change for the issues that matter the most to our communities.ā€
